At the Endless Mountains Writing Project we focus on promoting educational leadership through studies of writing research and theories, writing in a collaborative, professional setting, and demonstrations by K-12 classroom teachers of successful methods for teaching writing in their classrooms. This community allows for a positive, professional atmosphere where pedagogy and creativity flourish. An overwhelming number of EMWP Fellows report a sense of renewed purpose and increased energy through their involvement with EMWP. The majority of our graduates also continue on to present their own professional work at the district, state, and national level.
While we will not be hosting an Invitational Summer Institute this year, we are offering Common Core Workshops in June 2013.
EMWP is housed at Mansfield University and is an affiliate of the National Writing Project.
